Blue Island Beer Club

Colin Ward and Bruce Kula call themselves the Blue Island Beer Club. They write and perform songs that combine island music and the blues into a harmonious brew Colin calls acoustitropipop.

Their music celebrates women, warm-weather beaches, dolphins, sailboats, and guitars. And then women again.

Their new CD, Lone Palm Tree, takes you to exotic places like the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the left coast of Florida, and other places they've traipsed through, like Chicago, Texas, and England.

So pour a Kalik or an Anchor Steam, or a piña colada if that's what it takes, sit back, and let the Blue Island Beer Club conjure up a desert island with a Lone Palm Tree.

Hear selected songs in their entirety, download MP3s, and see video of Blue Island Beer Club at MySpace.com.

For a copy of Lone Palm Tree you can hold in your hands and bequeath to your progeny, head for CDBaby.com.

"Guitar playing... is absolutely fantastic, really enjoyed it."

"Blue Island Beer Club is awesome."

A Note About Beer

We'll stop short of telling you that intelligent life as we know it would've been impossible without beer, but you might want to hold in abeyance any snooty disdain you harbor for beer drinkers long enough to read this article from columnist George F. Will: Click Here.
